Looking suspiciously like an extended Aerosmith video, this "Comet Heading For Earth" movie was released to lukewarm reviews 2 months after Deep Impact. The plot is the same as Deep Imapct, but has more to offer the mindless MTV-popcorn set. Lots of loud music and sound, and great special effects, plus a handsome cast headed up by Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck & Liv Tyler. One of the best things about this movie is the always funny Steve Buscemi. Released July 1st, 1998. Nominated for 4 Oscars. A slightly longer version is available on DVD |
