| Finally a movie where the Earth gets it! After years of seeing Bruce Willis, Sean Connery, Morgan Freeman, and the rest sweat it out trying to save everyone, "Knowing" has the distinction of actually showing the Earth being reduced to a burned-out cinder! In the final act of the film, the planet is wasted by solar flares that fry everyone and flatten everything. I personally liked this film a lot for the fact that it takes place primarily in my hometown of Lexington, Massachusetts. The scenes of destruction start in Boston, and continue into New York City. |
