My interests in all things chaos and catastrophe started as a young lad growing up in the suburbs of Boston. I tried watching the first network showing of
"The Poseidon Adventure" and had to go to bed, and didn't find out how it ended for quite a few years. My love of ships was next stimulated by the 1953 Fox film "Titanic" After graduating from high school, I joined the Navy and did 10 years.While serving onboard the USS Mount Vernon, I was injured and eventually found myself back in the "real" world. My work allows me to spend a lot of my time in Southern California, but my heart is in New England. As a disabled Veteran, I try to support my fellow vets, by doing what I can in-person, and doing a lot of on-line support. |
