NO GREATER LOVE (TVM1996)

A TV movie based on Danielle Steel's novel. Onboard the Titanic, Edwina Winfield and her fiance, accompanied by her family, are planning their lives together. Suddenly, the ship hits the berg and chaos ensues. Edwinas mother decides to stay onboard with her husband , making Edwina promise to take care of the younger kids, no matter what. Edwinas fiance is also lost. The story concerns Edwinas life, taking over the family business and all the sacrifices she makes. The movies Titanic scenes are devoid of fact, but are interesting to see. The Titanic scenes were partially filmed on the Queen Mary, and the sinking scenes were taken from S.O.S. Titanic.
