There are many sides taken on the various incarnations of this film on video. Basically, there are 2 ways you're going to see this at home: very dark and grainy or very bright and washed out. In my honest opinion, the "newest" DVD version SUCKS! It is basically copied from the old MCA VHS release, which was okay, but so dark that you couldn't make out much. To each his own... |

The word is still out on this new DVD. Some think it looks "Squished". It appears lighter and the color seems better. Still matted and in mono is my only complaint. |
