| Produced by Irwin "Poseidon Adventure" Allen, this weekly series was one of the last he produced in a succesful string that included "Lost In Space" and "Land Of The Giants". The series depicted the adventures of scientists Tony Newman and Doug Phillips, who are accidentally being bounced from different time periods via a huge experimental time tunnel, built by a secret government group. In the series first episode, the scientist's end up on the Titanic, and try to alert the Captain (played by Michael Rennie), but with little success. The show used stock footage from the 1953 "Titanic", along with vaguely nautical looking sets. |
