A great Patriotic shoot-em-up starring Harrison Ford as The President. The Presidents plane is hijacked by a fraction of Russian military types, who get onboard posing as Russian press. Once the terrorists take over, the President puts his military training into use to save his family and staff. This movie may have a few technical impossibiltys (most can't be proved or disproved due to the secrecy of the actual plane) Seeing Harrison Ford as President James Marshall makes one wish that real life mirrored Hollywood a little bit more often. Released July 25th, 1997. Nominated for 2 Oscars: Best Sound and Best Editing |
