One of the last disaster movies of the 1970s. A chemical plant engineer is fired and starts a fire in a small city. The movie mainly focuses on the local hospital, but works in some corrupt city officials for good measure. The film's camera crew seems to linger way to long on people burning alive and getting killed and, unless your a pyromaniac, you may feel this movie leans towards pandering.Starring disaster movie veterans Ava Gardner, Shelley Winters, Henry Fonda & Leslie Nielsen.
