| If you can overlook the idea of Anglo stars playing Polyneisan Islanders, this movie is quite good. Your usual 1930s soaper with a dynamic FX finale. Directed by the great John Ford, with an excellent cast. Released November 9th, 1937. Nominated for 3 Oscars, winning one for "Best Sound."
