On April 28th, 1988 Aloha Airlines Flight 243 departed Hilo Airport for Honolulu. A few minutes into the flight, at 24,000 feet, the top forward section was ripped off and the head Flight Attendent, Clarabell Lansing, was pulled out of the plane. Even though the pilots couldnt communicate with each other, or the remaining crew because of the wind and noise, they managed to safely land the plane. The cause of the accident was debated, but the obvious fact of wear and tear on older planes was fairly obvious. Reports of Clarabells ghost started popping up, much like the Ghost of Easterns Flight 401. This Made-For-TV Movie is a fairly accurate telling of the events, first shown on February 11th, 1990. |
