THE  POSEIDON  ADVENTURE

(TVM 2005)

No one who is a fan of the 1972 classic is expecting much from this. In the original, the ocean liner was struck by a tidal wave and capsized. In this remake/rethinking, the ship is taken over by terrorists who explode bombs that overturn the ship. Most of the popular characters from the book/movie have been dropped or altered (most notably "Linda Rogo" played so memorably by Stella Stevens in 1972.) This will probably be shown Fall, 2005.
