The World, The Flesh, and The Devil
(1959)
Ralph is a coal miner caught in a cave-in. After the sounds of his rescue diminish, he digs himself out and finds himself alone-completely. He makes his way to Manhattan, and starts living as if he is the only one left, until others show up. What starts out as a great "end of the world as we know it" film, turns into an early 60's "message" flick, with star Harry Belafonte singing a few tunes.
